If it has already been auctioned back, they can evict him without notice. Really, how much more time does he need? He’s been there for free throughout the whole process. At least 3 months of no mortgage, and another month or longer of auctioning it.

If he’s not out by now, he’d better get packing. The sherrif will come and evict him, otherwise. He’ll get a notice to quit the premises and it will tell him when they plan to clear him out.
Usually 72 hours.
