Dan and his family lost their home due to broker’s lies and avarice We must put a personal face on foreclosure, and we must take action if we have any chance of preventing millions of people from losing their homes. Have you been affected by the housing crisis? Do you know anyone who has? We’re asking you to record your story, or the story of a friend, family member, or neighbor, and send it to us in a video or through a written submission. When your entering into a large purchase like this, Why dont you hire a real estate attorney to represent you at closing? They review Title, Loan, everything! Thats what I did, Id never buy real estate without legal representation! However no one else seems to think it needed!
This is the doing of Mortgage Brokers. Without them pushing loans on people who were there for guidance, they wouldn’t have made any $. When you sell a mortgage the commission is almost instant. There are no chargebacks if the homeowner defaults, unlike insurance policies that are issued. So these guys just told lies to people & sold them mortgages that they knew their clients wouldn’t be able to afford. What did they care, there is no consequence thats going to happen to them. It’s called GREED
@escapeout Here is a realy stupid idea give every family 100k SMART people could finda way to make it work. I said it was stupid yet this guy coulda made it work. Not here not with these greedy thieves. This gov is asking for a problem and no one is gonna go up against them the worst part is he gets FLEECED, at the same time MAYDOFF is an IDOLL for our big BROTHER theres not enough streets for this many homless. Just a thought. peace
Teaser rate… sounds like this guy got robbed and thats ok right business as usuall this country is asking for trouble. Looks like the banks the gov are nothing more than MOBSTERS. Are we gonna do anything about it NOPE. I’d like to live in a cave outright whats the taxes on that? and whats the fine for to many pebbles out front? its 1000.00 dollars here if YOUR GRASS IS 11 INCHES HIGH IS THIS FUCKING REAL YEP.
This organization is affiliated with Acorn the corrupt criminal organization under Obama. I don’t trust anything they say. They are using these poor people’s stories when in fact Obama voted yes on the bank bail outs.
I had a similar problem. My videos show how I solved it:

I am still in my home! Call me crazy! I agree – I am as crazy as a fox!
sad
@BufirdMauhaney this happened after 8 years of a republican president.
WHAT EVER HAPPEN TO READING THE FUCKING CONTRACT YOU SIGNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FUCKING RETARDS. I do agree that the banks are also responsible for running themselves to near collapse and that the government shouldn’t have never bailed them out.
@JackRoller008 Wowl…2010 we still have stupidity, when will ignorance end. We can start with you Jack lets end you “Daddy took me too a hanging after church” mentality. Evil is wrong on all counts who is worse off the person who got con viced to do the crime or the person who convinced him to do it. As an adult we all sign on the dotted line and have to agree on what we read before we sign it. If you ever had anything bigger than your Nana’s double wide you would know the amount
The broker lied for crying out loud. What kind of stuff is this? Where is our bailout.??
In Addition to demanding banks produce the original note and prove they have standing. ALSO? I have my condensed reference notes up on a web page!!!!!!

Correspond with me if you like Jeff / CAJeffO@yahoo.com
P.S. Let’s fight together and put the pressure on the banks!!!
Please dont vote democrat. This is what happens.
You can get your home back. Have you tried? You know, fraud vitiates any statute of limitation. Have you gotten a forensic audit? It’s not that expensive and with it you can prove the fraud. You file a lawsuit. And since the burden of proof is on you, you submit the audit. The bank wont defend and will acquiesce by silence. Then you default them and get your home back with the courts judgment in your favor. which is for full deed re-conveyance and title.
@GaryChapmanJr – Thank you for voting for Obama. People like you are destroying this country. Jackass.
@imhotep1 – Blacks like you created this mess. I beez buy’in muh home yo. McMansion and shizzzles. We cant pay no mo, so we jus default and whitey’s property value drops cuz you know, you know, we be black and da banks be all raciss n shheaattt. We gots hook up now at Section 8 hous’in young’in. Anywhoo…Obongo 2012 yo….muh dik
@imhotep1 = Many people did read the fine print asshole. People should be allowed to refinance without having 20% equity in their homes. This keeps people in their homes and does not even change their principal balance which many are upside down on anyway. It’s good for the home owner, bank, and the economy as a whole. Economics 101. People with your “I got mine and know everything” mentality are of no help to this country. It’s best if you drink a nice glass of shut the fuk up.
@ndyt In some places of California, Las Vegas and New York the cost of living is high. I had a friend who lived in Los Angeles and in order to live in a Decent (notice I did not say the Best) part of town it was expensive.
@SexSteakSoda Ouch! I hate to say this, but you are telling the truth.
@triumphantchrist Thank you! Most people in the real estate and finance industry are honest people. I know of real estate agents who will advise you not to overextend yourself while others will let you know what you are qualified for no matter how big.
@warwith1n Excuse me yes they do! I know plenty of people who were bragging about buying homes and looking down on those who were still renting. What’s next? Credit card companies shoud have to readjust their interest rate and extend the time before calling you?
@ghostlaw1980 Back in the old days it was even harder to get a loan. Congrats to your grandfather’s hard work. I feel sorry for those facing foreclosure, but then again there are many people who don’t have homes who couldn’t afford to get one so they humbly rented.
@FireFlyF111 Do not blame Obama. Back in the old days, if you didn’t have the money, you couldn’t buy the house. The government is not going to pay for your house nor refinance for you. (We would all be living in big mansions if that were the case.) All Obama does is what reasonable lender would do extend your time to pay. Read the fine print next time.
@CrankdReport No, it depends on what kind of loan it is. It’s your responsibility to read the fine print. Also, some people have two loans for their homes such as an interest only. Now if you’re good at risk and debt acquisition you may know how and when to sell and whey to buy, but your average American who has no understanding of the real estate market may “accidentally” overextend themselves.
