‘Dreamtowns’ offer refuge from big cities

Commuting is a breeze in Helena, Mont. The typical drive to work is shorter here than in every micropolitan area but two. Education and income levels are strong, making this town No. 5 on bizjournals’ list of American “dreamtowns.”America may be a metropolitan nation, but most of us don’t seem very happy about it.
